With the large number of deaths and evictions lately, people are getting more careful and are becoming more perceptive towards attacks. In order for an attack to have any effect this game day, at least one other player must also be attacking your target. If you are the only one attacking your target, then the result is an automatic failure, at no cost to the target. If there are multiple attackers, each attack has its full effect.
Will an attack that fails due to only one player attacking be distinct from one failing due to failure cards?

To make sure I understand the phases right before shooting myself in the foot posting a clarification in the forum...
Even if a player is mafia killed while attacking Dr. Lucky, that attack will still go through (unless blocked by defenses), since bodyguard evictions occur during the action phase like other cards do. True/false?
Edit: Someone did ask this in the forums, so you can just say so if it is the same for here.
