Narration Link: forums.penny-arcade.com/showpost.php?p=11894139&postcount=247As a group, you get to evict two people from the Mansion per night. Send a PM to Kitano with your choice of players; there is no restriction on which players may be chosen. For the first day, you may also select Dr. Lucky's starting location. Be sure to send that in with your eviction orders for day 1. ----- Most of the party guests have special motives for killing Dr. Lucky, such that if Dr. Lucky is not killed with the correct mindset, the conspirator will not take victory in the event. There are four different motives: Love, Money, Revenge, and Occult....

So, do we wait and see if any bandwagon happens or do we single out some targets right now?
Also, where should we have Dr. Lucky starting?

I propose that we don't all start in the same room as Lucky, for obvious reasons.
We should spread ourselves out, but be able to get at least 33-50% of us at least near the good Doctor as soon as possible, as most people are going to try and get to him to like, kill him and shit.
I need to go back over the mechanics for killing him and protecting him.
Edit: Possible plan.
We start Dr Lucky in Square 1. Pros: We get the most coverage on potential starting positions that allow us to move in on him given the rest of the plan. Cons: People may expect him to start in Square 1.
People will expect him to move to Square 2. However, if I use my 'Move 2' card, or someone with a similar card uses that, he won't be moving to Square 2. I think my Move 2 card will place him in Square 4, as it's an additional move rather than a replacement move, but we can ask for a clarification in the clarification thread.
We start with some of us nearby him, some of us ahead (to take advantage of the move) and some of us wherever. I suggest the Bodyguard types (Like Garroad) start with him, Killer types (like me) start to trail him (to catch people moving to his square and missing), while people with abilities that can be used anywhere (like Tiph) just start wherever.
This way, Garroad gets to protect him (his ability means he counts as 2 Bodyguards and not one for foiling attacks, right?), I get to stabstab people that are trailing and missing him (I have a Fire Extinguisher for a level 3 attack) and Tiph can use his ability on whomever.
Now, as we don't know what everyone is yet, this is very much subject to change, but it's a general framework to build on, maybe. Just bear in mind that other people ALSO have movement cards, though I feel they may be more likely to play them on themselves rather than Dr L.

Seeing as i'm a freaking ninja and dont have to be in the same room as Lucky to defend him, i should probably never be in the same room, right?
EDIT- Actually, i'm not sure if I have that right...
I'm always considered to be in the same room as DL in terms of protection against attack. Does that mean in me protecting him, or protecting myself, or what?

hippie, I would assume it means you protect the good Doctor.
I'm gonna start in room 9 - Billiard Room. It is the obvious place for a thief like me.

I just re-read the rules. Holy shit.
Weapon cards played on Dr. Lucky will automatically fail if there is a bodyguard in the room with him. If there are no bodyguards in Dr. Lucky's room, then the weapon must overcome the number of bodyguards remaining in the game.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the best way to play this. I suspect we should all make an effort to appear to be "following" DL, since I suspect that's what everyone else will do. Smart players will realize that, most likely, they need to get rid of us before they have a chance.
Hmm. This will require some careful planning, using our move cards to keep him from being too predictable, but also moving us in natural looking patterns that ensure at least one of us is in every square whenever possible.

We do want to follow Dr. L, as we can make kills clouded among the other players who are also following Dr. L, plus get more valuable cards. Smart villagers will use movement cards to throw us offguard.

As of post 365, Skycaptain is in the lead with 6 votes, and in second place, a bunch of others at 2 votes each. Darian and ebfan with three votes each.

Well we should all agree on a starting area. Safety in numbers after all. I think everyone will congregate near the center squares to prevent being blocked off by closing rooms. I'm thinking the music room or study would be our safer bet. Music Room preferred, since we can camp there and smack Dr. Lucky if he comes around by the time his bodyguards are wiped. This is how B:L thinks the game is gonna be. Appending it as research materiel.

Well, we don't really want SkyCaptain to die, if possible, but we'll just have to hope that someone else comes along that we can try to nudge the vote onto.

Can't make it too obvious though, or we'll out more of our members.
